B.S., Pharmaceutical Chemistry, University of California, Davis
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended the University of California, Davis, where I worked with Professor Mark Kurth synthesizing novel bioactive heterocycles. After receiving my B.S. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, I spent a year working at the UC Davis NMR facility maintaining four spectrometers. In 2014, I came to the University of Illinois to pursue my PhD in Organic Chemistry. When not in lab, I enjoy drinking a cold beer by a camp fire.
