Biography
In 2006, I graduated from Indiana University with a bachelors in Chemistry. While there I carried out undergraduate research in the laboratory of Professor P. Andrew Evans on the Bismuth mediated reductive etherification.
Currently, I am working to expand the asymmetric Passerini reaction developed in these laboratories by trapping the imidoyl chloride intermediate produced with an internal nucleophile, to produce enantioenriched alpha-hydroxy lactones.
In my free time I enjoy reading and video games.
