B.S., Biology and Chemistry, Aquinas College
I am originally from Fremont, MI, a small town in western Michigan. I attended Hope College and then Aquinas College, graduating from the latter with a with B.S. degrees in biology and chemistry. While there, I worked with Dr. Jonathan Fritz studying regioselectivity in direct arylation reactions. Much of the work was computationally oriented, being performed under the supervision of Dr. Li-Heng Chen. In the occasion that I have free time, I enjoy running and playing the piano and guitar.
