Course Description

Chemistry 202 is the first semester of the accelerated introductory chemistry course, with an emphasis on topics of interests to chemical sciences majors. Topics covered include

-quantum mechanics and atomic structure
-chemical bonding
-chemical conservation laws (stoichiometry, thermochemistry)
-kinetic gas theory, real gases
-chemical kinetics
-chemical thermodynamics, equilibrium, Le Chatelier's principle
