Student Machine Shop Rules
- Only persons trained or approved byt the Student Machine Shop Supervisor may use the Student Machine shop.
- Safety glasses must be worn at all times.
- Shop tools must always be handled in a safe manner
- Do not remove tools from the Student Shop. If you need tools, they may be purchased or checked out.
- Tools are to be cleaned and replaced after each use by the user.
- When in doubt about machine operatons, seek advice.
- Only work related to University projects may be performed in the Student Machine Shop
- For safety reasons, no work can be done in the shop unless two people are present at all times.
- For evening or weekend use see the Student Shop Supervisor.
- Report safety problems to the Student Shop Supervisor and/or the Chemistry Administrative Office.
