Brief Biography

Caleb Brandmeyer was an undergraduate student majoring in Biochemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He performed undergraduate research under the supervision of Prof. Scott K. Silverman. After graduation, he began a position as QC Chemist at Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Research Interests

In my research I worked on two projects. I pursued deoxyribozymes that create peptide-nucleic acid conjugates, and I identified deoxyribozymes that hydrolyze peptide bonds.
