Brief Biography

Anthony Hesser was an undergraduate student earning dual degrees in Chemistry and in Bioengineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He performed undergraduate research under the supervision of Prof. Scott K. Silverman. After graduation, he joined the Chemical Biology Ph.D. program in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard University.

Research Interests

My research projects pursued the identification of deoxyribozymes that catalyze hydrolysis of ester and amide bonds as well as deoxyribozymes for protein glycosylation.
