Nickolaus Lammer was an undergraduate student majoring in Biochemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He performed undergraduate research under the supervision of Prof. Scott K. Silverman. After graduation, he joined the Biochemistry Ph.D. program at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

In my research project, I sought deoxyribozymes that phosphorylate peptide side chains.
