Brief Biography

Amanda Mulcrone was an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a major in Chemistry. She performed undergraduate research under the supervision of Prof. Scott K. Silverman. She attended medical school at the University of Illinois after graduation.

Research Interests

In my research, I investigated the identification and characterization of deoxyribozymes that catalyze protein side chain modification. I also studied deoxyribozymes that catalyze reductive amination.
