She was a visiting Ph.D. student from June through October 2010 in the group of Prof. Scott K. Silverman at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Research Interests

My Ph.D. research at the University of Santiago de Compostela involves the design and synthesis of new fluorescent peptides to study protein-protein interactions. In the group of Prof. Silverman, my efforts aimed to identify and characterize deoxyribozymes that covalently attach small-molecule substrates to RNA.
