Brief Biography

Jaydeep Singh earned his B.S. degree in Biochemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He performed undergraduate research under the supervision of Prof. Scott K. Silverman.

Research Interests

My first research project in the Silverman Lab sought to identify and characterize DNA enzymes that hydrolyze DNA, specifically considering the importance of random region length on DNA catalysis. My second research project aimed to identify DNA-hydrolyzing deoxyribozymes that use triplex binding to interact with double-stranded DNA.
