Bruker Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS)

SAXSOur Bruker Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) is system equipped with an automated Anton Paar sample chamber and HiStar multiwire area detector. This multipurpose system is used to help characterize materials with extremely long molecular repeat spacing.

The GADDS (WAXS) and SAXS instruments may be reserved in hourly increments on a 24/7 basis. GADDS and SAXS users must complete a two-hour introductory/safety course and submit a financial responsibility form before using either instrument.
