Glass Shop

The SCS Glass Shop is able to fabricate and repair a wide variety of glass apparatus, and also offers consultation on the design of laboratory glassware.

8:00 am - 12:00 pm & 12:30 - 4:00 pm

Walk-ins are welcome from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm every weekday. Please schedule an appointment if visiting outside of walk-in hours.

All glassware to be repaired or modified must be thoroughly cleaned before being dropped off at the glass shop, including complete removal of all vacuum grease. Items such as stopcock plugs, o-rings, and retaining clips/wires should also be removed. Please contact the glass shop if you have any questions about proper cleaning of laboratory items needing repair. Dirty glassware will not be repaired.
